Gas ONE GS-1000 7,650 BTU Portable Butane Gas Stove

Review:

The Gas ONE GS-1000 Portable Butane Gas Stove is a self-contained unit that can be used for outdoor cooking in a pinch or indoor stove replacement when in a well ventilated area. The GS-1000 has matchless ignition for convenience and follows the highest safety standard posted by the CSA.

The Gas ONE GS-1000 measures out to be 13.5 x 4.4 x 11.2 inches and weighs in at 2 pounds. Cooking power is rated at 7,650 BTU.

Setup is as easy as opening the siding and popping in the butane canister. The canister does not lock in place until the temperature dial is set to off.  Along with the automatic canister ejection if an irregular gas flow is detected, Gas One has emphasized safety first for this propane stove.

Pros:

Matchless Ignition
Safety Valve Ejection
Portability

Cons:

Replacement butane canisters may be expensive depending on your location
Unit becomes unreasonably hot when in use
