Coleman Portable Bottletop Propane Gas Stove
Review:
The Coleman Portable Bottletop Propane Gas Stove is a portable cooking device made for outdoor use. The Coleman stove is a smallish size camping stove, measuring at 6.6" high and 7.8" wide, and provides a generous 8" cooking bowl. The larger cooking bowl size works great when there are several campers in the party.
This portable stove uses propane as the fuel source. Propane is readily available in most stores with the 16 oz Coleman propane canisters being the most common. Propane tanks have the added benefit of being refillable, making it easy to top off a canister before a trip.
This portable stove provides a large stable base to keep the unit steady. There is a control knob to adjust the flame to create the precise temperature, but the stove does not provide a built-in ignition source so keep a lighter nearby. The stove will last up to 2.5 hours on high on a single 16 oz propane canister.
Pros:
- Quick and easy to use
- Fuel canister stand support included
- Large cooking bowl area
- Propane fuel more accessible for most
Cons:
- No built-in ignition
