Ohuhu Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camping Stove

Ohuhu Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camping Stove

Review:

The Ohuhu Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camping Stove is light weight and smartly designed. With the grill on, the stove acts as a barbecue. With the three prong holder in place, cooking can be done. The stove can handle a wide variety of fuel sources--twigs, leaves, pinecones, wood, and alcohol tablets. The fire is strong possibly due to the air vents below pushing oxygen into the flame.

The Ohuhu Wood Burning Camping Stove measures out to be 5.3 x 5.3 x 6.1 inches and weighs in at 12.8 ounces. When folded down for travel in the included mesh bag, the package is measured to be 5.3 x 5.3 x 3 inches.

There are slight differences in setup depending on the type of fuel source used and the type of cooking to be done. Put the stove chamber on the bottom vents, then add the stove base plate. This is the point where the natural fuel can be added and lit.  If the fuel are solidified alcohol, put down the solidified alcohol plate first before adding the tablets. Then it is the choice between the grill for BBQ or the pot holder for cooking.

Pros:

Dual purpose BBQ and cooking.
Accepts multiple fuel sources.
Small and lightweight for travel.

Cons:

Adding fuel requires removal of top.
Natural flame results in soot stains under pots.
