REDCAMP Wood Burning Camp Stove Folding Stainless Steel 304# Grill

Redcamp Wood Burning Camp Stove

Review:

The Redcamp Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camping Stove is a great lightweight stove. The straightforward design makes setup easy. The fuel the stove accepts runs the gamut. It can be fed leaves, twigs, wood, coal, solid fuel tablets and gas. The walls of the stove has three levels where the pins can be slid into which will adjust the heat. There is an opening in front where more fuel can be added as needed.

The Redcamp Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camping Stove measures at 8.3 x 5.9 x 5.9 inches in its unfolded state. In its folded state, it measures out to be 8.3 x 5.9 x 1.5 inches. A carry bag comes withe stove which makes it great for travel.

When first receiving the stove, be aware to peel off the blue film protecting the stove from scratches. Depending on luck, this may take quite awhile as the blue film gets stuck in the various hinges and grooves. To setup, unfold the main square and stand it up. Slide the two pins into one of the three set of pinholes. Place the grid with wider holes down the center of the column until it sits on the pins. Slide the ash pan into the bottom of the setup. Place your fuel in at this point. Place the grill on top and you are good to go.

Pros:

Side hatch allows adding fuel without removing top grill.

Square footprint adds to stability.

Cons:

Does not work as well on uneven terrain.
